Mustek PL8C70/PL8D70
The PL8C70 is a portable DVD player that is perfect to keep the kids from fighting on long car trips. Offering a 7 inch screen you can strap this player to the back of the seat, however in a stroke of genius you can purchase an additional screen to strap to the other seat and in a stroke stop arguments about brother or sister going onto "their side".
The player is a little ugly but the kids won't care about that, but under its ugly exterior is actually a very good DVD player. The picture is sharp and contrast is excellent. Colour is also surprisingly good however the sounds is severely lacking, although using headphones sort this out and also means you don't have to listen to the theme from the Lion King for the seven millionth time.
A 12v cigarette lighter adapter is supplied allowing you to run the layer from the cars power meaning you won't run out of battery power half way through the trip.
For this price you can't really lose.

Region Free hack for the PL8C70L 1 Turn on the DVD player. 2 Open the tray. 3 Key in 9735 on the remote.A menu should appear where you can set the wanted region 4 Close the tray to exit the menu.
