Sharp XV-Z21000
If you want to avoid having a big LCD or Plasma in your living room then a projector is the way to go. A while back however this meant that you were stuck with SD pictures, but recently we have had a lot more, more affordable HD projectors. The XV-Z21000 can display a full 1080p HD picture, and for around £7,000 you would hope so.
As you would expect, connections are your standard S-video, component video, composite video and dual HDMI and DVI.
The picture quality from the projector is as you would image, quite breathtaking, especially when working with HD source material. The picture is so good that it can show up DVDs shortcomings. Our advice is if you are looking at projectors, think about the growth of Blu-ray and HD-DVD and future proof your purchase now instead of having to upgrade in a year or so. Now if anyone would like to buy us one...
